The crowd didn't believe his word and thus on their side was Prem, who declared his innocence; however, the gang nevertheless pounced on him accusing him of reckless driving. A phone call from police station got to Rahi, informing her of Prem's detention. Anupama and Rahi therefore, got quite shocked after this news.
At police station, Anupama and Rahi were seen defending Prem, who told them that it was Varun that caused the accident. Upon this, Rajini came and confronted Varun, who was still blaming Prem. Seeing this, Rajini didn't hold back her anger and asked him to speak the truth as well as giving him a slap. When things got tough, Varun decided to come clean and tell the truth that he lied to get away with it.
Meanwhile, Vasundhara had a word with Parag and asked him if from their past, Rajini was the same person he thought. She was concerned about the sudden prosperity of Rajini and warned Parag against trusting her.
But Parag was confident of his choice and said he had already put all his money into the project. Besides, he reminded Vasundhara that although he had betrayed Rajini because of her, love doesn't care about status.
